The Empowerment of Backward classes women is need of the hour. Whileaddressing the gathering at Abhinandana Sabha for establishing new NationalCommission for Backward Classes as a constitutional body, at RTC kalabhavan inHyderabad today, the Union minister of State for labour and employment(Independent Charge) Mr. Bandaru Dathatreya said that under the able leadershipof Prime Minister of India shri. Narendra Modi, NDA government has takenhistoric decision to constitute a new national commission for backward classeswith constitutional status.
Mr. Dathatreya opined that theparticipation of the backward class women should be increased in decisionmaking and democratic process. He further said that 480Job Melas were organized by Ministry of Labour and Employment across thecountry for providing the employment to the youth and women. Speaking on thedemonetization, Mr. Dathatreya said that people gave their valuable support tothe government to eradicate corruption and to curb the black money. The UnionMinister also complemented the efforts of Mr. R. Krishnaiah National presidentof backward classes association for welfare of the BCs. He further said thatthe NDA government is giving top priority for providing Health, Education andEmployment opportunities to weaker sections of the Society especially backwardclasses.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. R.Krishnaiah National president of backward classes association said that theirassociation has taken several initiatives for socio economic development of thebackward classes in India. He expressed his gratitude to the prime minister ofIndia Shri. Narendra Modi for making BC commission as a constitutional body.
Speaking on the occasion JusticeEswarayya explained the provisions of the New National commission for backwardclasses. The Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Housing and UrbanDevelopment and Urban poverty alleviation Mr. M. Venkaiah Naidu, Former MP L.Ramana, speaker of Telangana legislative assembly Mr. Madhusudhanachari andseveral prominent BC leaders have also participated in the meeting.
